EquityBee Securities Business Continuity Planning Disclosure Statement

EquityBee Securities, LLC (“Equitybee”) maintains a Business Continuity Plan to address how it will respond to events that significantly disrupt Equitybee’s business. Since the timing and impact of disasters and disruptions are unpredictable, Equitybee must remain flexible in responding to actual events as they occur.

Equitybee’s BCP– Equitybee plans to quickly recover and resume business operations after a significant business disruption and respond by safeguarding Equitybee’s employees and property, making a financial and operational assessment, protecting the firm’s books and records, and allowing Equitybee’s customers to transact business. In short, Equitybee’s business continuity plan is designed to permit it to resume operations as quickly as possible, given the scope and severity of the significant business disruption.

Equitybee’s business continuity plan addresses: data backup and recovery; all mission critical systems; financial and operational assessments; alternative communications with customers, employees, and regulators; alternate physical location of employees; critical supplier, contractor, bank and counterparty impact; regulatory reporting; and assuring Equitybee’s customers prompt access to their funds and securities if Equitybee is unable to continue its business.

Varying Disruptions – Significant business disruptions can vary in their scope and severity. Depending on the circumstances, our management may take any of the following steps, as appropriate:

  • Operate from an alternate location
  • Communicate with the Firm’s customers and key stakeholders
  • Communicate with appropriate regulatory agencies

If the significant business disruption is so severe that it prevents Equitybee from remaining in business, Equitybee will assure its customers’ prompt access to their funds and securities.
